World Cancer Day Walk

The Inaugural World Cancer Day awareness walk took place on February 9th, 2020.  GO! Insect Repellent partnered with organisers to aid in the awareness of all cancers and cancer survivors. Attendees were able to sample GO! Insect Repellent prior to embarking on the route around the historic city of Bridgetown.  At the end of the event, during the cool-down exercise sessions and ‘mingling’ patrons and beach-goers had a chance to receive free product, giveaways and lots of information on the product and its many uses and repelling power. 

Overall, a great afternoon was had at the World Cancer Day walk and many persons reinforced GO! Insect Repellent as their repellent of choice!

Barbados Open Water Festival

The 8th Barbados Open Water Festival was held across the island from November 6th – 10th, 2019. GO! Insect Repellent partnered with organisers to be the official insect repellent of the swim meet.  This annual event sees both regional and international teams for comradery and competition at beaches from the north of the island to the south.  Practice events were held at Carlisle Bay, St. Michael, Port St. Charles Marina, St. Peter and Miami Beach in Christ Church while all competitive events took place at the main event arena on Carlisle Bay Beach.  Competitors and beach-goers alike were introduced to the GO! brand and persons already familiar with the brand were eager to purchase. 

GO! Insect Repellent is available in both a 200ml aerosol can and 6 oz pump spray bottle to suit a variety of both outdoor and indoor uses.  Here are a few highlights from the event days.

Highlights from GO! at BMEX 2019

The new GO! Insect Repellent with DEET was debuted at BMEX 2019. The newly repackaged products were available for sale in the aerosol and pump spray versions and patrons got to learn about the active ingredient, DEET, which effectively repels mosquitoes and other biting insects for up to 8 hours. Customers who purchased GO! at the exhibition were able to take advantage on big savings exclusively on offer at the GO! booth at BMEX 2019 over regular retail prices and received a free GO! tote bag with purchase.

Also at the GO! booth at BMEX 2019, patrons were excited about the opportunity to play a game of mini golf. This was enjoyed by the young and young at heart! Patrons who could score a hole-in-one received free prizes compliments GO! Insect Repellent – a pedometer for adults and sunglasses for children.
